  1. Install PocketAgent for Mac, open it from the menu bar, and create an account or sign in.
  2. In the Mac app's Settings → Projects, add the project folders your phone may use.
  3. Make sure at least one coding agent works on the Mac, for example run claude in Terminal and sign in with /login. Install the ACP adapter when PocketAgent asks.
  4. Install PocketAgent on your iPhone and sign in with the same account.
  5. On the Mac choose Pair New Device, scan the QR code with your iPhone, and check that both screens show the same 4-digit code.
  6. Start a session from your phone. Approvals and questions arrive as notifications.

Do I need a Mac?

Yes. The coding agents run on your Mac with your own accounts and subscriptions. The iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch apps control and review that work; PocketAgent doesn't provide AI models.

必须有 Mac 吗？

是的。编程助手在你的 Mac 上运行，使用你自己的账号和订阅；iPhone、iPad 和 Apple Watch 负责查看和指挥。PocketAgent 本身不提供 AI 模型。

The phone can't see my screen or control the Mac

On the Mac, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and turn on PocketAgent under Screen Recording (to view) and Accessibility (to control). Restart PocketAgent after granting Screen Recording.

手机看不到屏幕或无法控制 Mac

在 Mac 的 系统设置 → 隐私与安全性 里，为 PocketAgent 打开“屏幕录制”（查看）和“辅助功能”（控制）。授予屏幕录制后需要重启 PocketAgent。

An agent shows as unavailable

Install its command-line tool and sign in to it in Terminal first. Claude Code and Codex also need Node.js for the ACP adapter, which PocketAgent installs for you.

先安装对应的命令行工具，并在终端里登录。Claude Code 和 Codex 的 ACP 适配器需要 Node.js，PocketAgent 会帮你安装适配器。

Is my code sent to your server?

No. Messages between your phone and Mac are end-to-end encrypted; our server only relays ciphertext and can't read them. Your code stays on your Mac. See the Privacy Policy.

我的代码会上传到你们的服务器吗？

不会。手机和 Mac 之间的消息端到端加密，服务器只转发密文、无法解读，代码始终留在你的 Mac 上。详见隐私政策。

I lost my phone

On the Mac open Settings → Devices & Permissions and choose Revoke This Device. The phone loses access immediately.

手机丢了怎么办？

在 Mac 的 设置 → 设备与权限 里选择“撤销这台设备”，那台手机会立即失去访问权限。

How do I delete my account?

In the iPhone app open Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your account, devices and pairings from our server.

如何删除账号？

在 iPhone App 的 设置 → 账号 → 删除账号。账号、设备和配对信息会从服务器上删除。
